Geoff Whiting, the founder of Mirth Control Comedy, is an accomplished and vastly experienced comedian in his own right. Making him a uniquely placed person for booking comedy for your corporate function, regular comedy night, charity fundraiser or wedding.
This year Geoff celebrates 16 years on the stand-up circuit. During which time he has established himself as a comedian and popular compere. His funny, strong, versatile act lends itself to any occasion. He has a wealth of experience in working at all the notable comedy clubs in Europe and many corporate and private events with audiences of 12 to over 1,000 people.
When he's not performing, Geoff book's other comedians into comedy clubs and has had the pleasuring of seeing many new acts, such as Jimmy Carr and Sarah Millican, build their careers over the years.
Geoff has supported Michael McIntyre, Harry Hill, Dara O Briain, Omid Djalili, Lee Mack, Ross Noble, Rhod Gilbert, Milton Jones, Micky Flanagan, Noel Fielding and Lee Hurst.
He has made regular appearances on TV and radio, as well as being an excellent TV warm up having cut his teeth on a series of the BBC's Shooting Stars. After overcoming a fear of flying Geoff is now performing at comedy clubs and corporate events across Europe: from Budapest to Guernsey.
Geoff is one of only a handful of comics worldwide to have performed stand up comedy in a pod on the London Eye (for BBC: The One Show) and was the first English speaking comic to ever perform at Club 99 in Bucharest, Romania.
