Vinny Shiu is a London-based stand up comedian who combines comedy songs with stories and jokes to highlight his unique upbringing; growing up in the West, as part of an Asian family.

 

Vinny was a finalist in the Comedy Virgins INGTE Summer Competition 2022, Semi-Finalist in the Musical Comedy Awards 2023 and a Finalist in The Comedy Store's King Gong Show. 

 

Vinny believes that comedy is not only about sharp jokes but also about giving audiences a performance. His style is immersive, physical and dynamic. Vinny regularly MCs at his comedy night Oops Comedy in Tooting and has performed in some of the UK's most famous comedy clubs including Big Belly Comedy Club, Up The Creek and The Comedy Store.
