Earl Okin

Earl Okin has been a headline act on the UK alternative comedy circuit for decades. He is a highly respected jazz and bossa nova artiste whose work bridges classic jazz tradition, Brazilian influence, and cabaret storytelling. A gifted vocalist and guitarist, Earl is celebrated for his elegant phrasing, rhythmic subtlety, and intimate rapport with audiences. His 'mouth-trumpet' is the most unique sound in British jazz.

Over a long international career, he has appeared at major jazz festivals, concert halls, and clubs across Europe and the Americas, and toured internationally as the support act for Sir Paul McCartney's Wings.

He has performed alongside Benny Carter, Barney Kessel, Cleo Laine, Stephane Grappelli and more, with a repertoire drawn from jazz standards, Brazilian classics, and original material, all delivered with warmth, intelligence, and understated humour.

Whether performing solo or with his trio, Earl creates a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere that resonates equally with dedicated jazz listeners and broader festival audiences. His performances are ideal for seated concerts, late-night jazz stages, and refined cabaret settings, offering a timeless live music experience.
