Ione Brown is an actress, comedian, impressionist and improvisor.

 

She started her career back in the 90’s in the comedy clubs of west London where her potential was spotted by the British Producer and Director Charlie Hanson who wrote the part of Vanessa in Desmonds specially for her.

 

She was part of Steve Wright's posse on the Radio One Breakfast Show, played Rose Marie in the smell of Reeves and Mortimer and was Sacha Baron Cohen's butler in Ali G in da House. 

 

As a comedienne and impressionist she was given 4 standing ovations from the Britains Got Talent judges when she performed at the London Palladium.

Most recently, Ione played Nurse Tayo in Holby City and Delilah in Pitching In, both for BBC1.
