Drop the vajazzled mic — Vik Garofalides is a stand-up comedian, actor and voiceover artist who was made in Greece and corrupted in Essex.
The "engaging, hilarious and filth" star of stage and screen (read: scream) is the face and mouth of Funny Boiler comedy, running shows for adults and kids (yes, this self-labelled multi-trick donkey also caters for PG family-friendly fun) in London, Essex and Bournemouth.
The writer and performer has shared the stage with comedy heavyweights from Al Murray to Mae Martin, Lou Sanders to Simon Brodkin, Hal Cruttenden to Paul McCaffrey and Cally Beaton to Bobby Davro.
A semi finalist for Funny Women 2025 and Ricky Gervais' Dutch Barn comedy competition, the Dorset Comedian of the year finalist has strutted her stuff everywhere from The Laugh Factory in Los Angeles, to London's Soho Theatre, Leicester Square Theatre, Camden Comedy Club, Backyard Comedy, and the Brighton & Camden Fringe.
A zero-hours contract mum, stand-up and showbiz schmoozer, she's been in the entertainment industry since the Noughties and written for a smorgasbord of publications including The Sun, Grazia, heat!, Mother & Baby, OK!, Radio Times, More! and was a columnist for The Mirror Online.
She's interviewed everyone from Ricky Gervais to Selena Gomez, Danny Dyer and The Dragons' Den, to Alan Carr to Katie Price to Justin Bieber to Bruce Forysth and presented on the red carpet for The BRITS, The National Television Awards, Glamour Awards, bounced around on Nickelodeon and created content for brands including Virgin Radio, NewsUK, Channel 4 and BBCiplayer.
